Sunday Night @ Taylor University

Okay here's the sitch...I have completely fallen in love with this University. The people, the atmosphere is so wonderful and welcoming. I'm typing on my host's laptop right now she is like the nicest girl in the world. Her name is Amye (pronounced: Amy) a really interesting spelling for a really interesting girl and she is without a doubt in my mind the sweetest person ever her and everyone else here in English hall if I get in here I am requesting 2nd south english most definitly her room and floor mates have been so sweet to me! Its been raining (more like a monsoon) ever since I got here at 3:30 pm in the afternoon. I registered and then walked around campus until dinner, which was great. Then the President gave a welcoming type speech about the values of Taylor (he seems so wacko but it was increduously funny) the parents left and we did a worship type thing for about I dunno 45 minutes where we just sang songs with two really hot senior guys. Then we hung out in the dorm for like an hour and ten minutes and went to an ice cream "social" where I played pool for awhile with three guys who were cute enough. Can't wait to go to chapel and classes tomorrow and be a college student for a day, I really think that Taylor is the place for me. This place already feels like home and I'm only visiting! Right now the other two visiting girls are out watching ALIAS I think I'm gonna try and raise Dan on my cell phone again and then listen to my CD's before we watch a movie. I'll try and post tomorrow @ the library when I get home. Right now its 11:30 pm here and I can already garauntee you that its gonna be a fun night.. These chickas are totally awesome, I can't wait to graduate so I can become one of them!

Late night latte...

WELCOME TO THE BREWHA...

She sighs. And takes another sip of her Americano Latte with whipped topping and a shot of espresso. Pulling out the Composition notepad the singers voice rattles her ears, his words pumping through her, this one...is that what he meant?, its a gathering place for starving artists and angsty rebellious teens angry at the world. She isn't one of them, a nerd, possibly. But not really no, she's liked by a reasonable number of the other seniors at her high school. Despite being a highly liberalistic democrat in the largely republican populus of a small town in Indiana. And the muse of inspiration refuses to show his face. Instead of writing an angsty poem about the lack of said inspiration, she smiles and lets his words sink deeper into her psyche "and the truth is..that I miss you and I'm tired" he slows his strumming with the last bridge. She claps for him as he finishes and her deep brown eyes catch his blue-ish green ones. They both smile, for they have a secret too. Granted he's 26 and she's only 18, but its a secret none-the-less. No one else knows, no one else really cares but they do. They don't sleep together...(if thats what you were thinking) they simply talk, and listen. Which is the most important fact in each of their lives. The local coffee shop is nothing to brag about but its a comforting atmosphere for both. No, they don't feel as if they are against the world, but its just nice to have that feeling of a warm body in your arms and knowing that the other person is there, hearing and caring about what you have to say, even if it doesn't really matter. And its nice to be held, thats her favorite part, him holding her almost as a lover would hold her, she doesn't have one. He comes close enough though. As his sketch on stage ends, she's up at the counter ordering his usual, a macchiatto double shot. They then sat on the couch and began their weekly secrets...a late night disscussion over a nice warm late night latte.

Fridays...what a waste

its Friday woohoo...according to every parent that I have encountered so far I should be jumping for joy but I don't understand what the point of that is anyway I mean...the next monday is just two days away? Blarg..was skipping out down at Guidance yesterday and today during sixth period (Geometry) to releive some of the mental stress I was under...and getting out of taking a couple of quizzes that I wasn't really all that prepared for. Next week is homecoming! Yay! I'm not going to keep this as just an online diary keep a close watch for some of my short story writings and possibly highly depressing poetry...(because everyone needs a little typical angst in their life sometime) Plans for this weekend: hmmm..tonight: do nothing maybe give Dan a call and possibly play some Halo2 Tomorrow: Do nothing (is anyone else seeing a pattern here?) maybe go shopping with one o'my best friends (he's a guy...and he's gay..what more could a chicka ask for when in need of advice and new clothes?) Sunday: head down to Taylor....but do nothing on the way there... I am so psyched about that visit though *eek! ^_^* anywho...oh hey I got this one from Scott Brown: "What do you call it when a guy talks dirty to a girl?" answer: sexual harrassment but..."What do you call it when a girl talks dirty to a guy?" answer: $3.99 a minute

...Life....or something to that effect

Today...was alright....I have a crap load of homework from my math class....as well as AP Psychology and AP Government...I have a Gov. test tomorrow that I need to study for but..am I doing that??? NO!! I'm sitting down here at the local library for an hour updating my sad, pathetic little life story so that if anyone is interested in it they can read about it, *sighs* I feel like ranting...I'm president of the anime (japanese animation) club at my school and we're doing a float for the homecoming parade..w00t fun. worked there and with my speech team coach on my new Dramatic Interpretation piece for this season. Yeah go hardcore speechies. can't wait for the college visit I'm going on this weekend and next week is homecoming so that will be semi-entertaining. Getting ready for my mother to be remarried..the wedding is in November on the 12th at Columbia City United Methodist Church... the guy is okay but I'm not a big fan of the two guys I'm getting for stepbrothers....they are jocks..and the worst kind...meanwhile I attempt to live my life as happily and as easy going as possible considering I'm a nerd, its really fun to confuse them by either talking a foreign language that they don't understand (one is a senior and the other is a sophomore they both take spanish) like french IV level french or german better yet...japanese! haha! or going into Nerd-lingo with my Psychology stuff. and Science Academic Superbowl junk. no more sleeping in considering ISTEP is over...curse the state of Indiana and gas is gonna be killer if Hurricane Rita hits the oil refineries in Texas...so..thats life...thats what all the people say...
